How long have you been with your partner

we've been together now for 7 1/2 months now and alls steady. we get the train to london for days out, see each other a much as possible, and are goin on holiday with her parents in august.

what really annoys me is when i get into a chat about our relationship with people in my class (im at a boys school) and other people always say things like "how far have you gone with her", it really annoys me that people just think about sex all the time and not real love

Are you suggesting people think of sex as love? Then again, people say that they 'Make love', but honestly, at 15/16, there isn't anything called true love (obviously in my opinion) or even love, just infatuation and lust, and being shy. :P
 
Met my lad in Sept 05 and became seriousish in Jan 06 so thats how long i have known him even tho theres 15 yrs been us and am 20! :) I must be love!!

Nine years so far, will be 10 years in November and will be gettig married not long after that.
 
Met my other half sept 05, and ave known him since then. Wnet out on and off from Sept to Dec 05 went out officially since Jan 06 and nothings changed from there on wards we are still together. :)
 
together for 14 years, married for 11

have actually known her for 20 years..but she didnt like me in sixth form :) so I must have changed in the 4 years I didnt see her after school
 
14 and a half years. We split up on the first of may for nearly 2 months, which was the best thing that ever happened to us, were like love sick teenagers again, spend all night doing stuff together with the kids then cuddle up on the couch till bedtime.

Honestly couldnt be happier, made me realise that you have to work all the time at a relationship to stop it going stale, which we had gotten, it wont happen again though.
 
September 6th will be mine and Tina's 14th anniversary. We've had some rough times, but we're still here. We love each other to bits and still (when we get the chance) flirt with each other.

It's amazing to me still how we can tell what the other is going to say before they can. I also find it mind boggling how I can have one of the crappiest days and in 5 minutes she can have me smiling again just by us talking about the budget or some silly thing. Like just now she is getting ready for work and walked through fairly naked. Cue me letting out a wolf whistle!! :p


Oh, and as a side note - Howard Somerset (Drawoh Tesremos), I would love some time to be able to sit and chat with you (and if you drink, buy you a pint or two). I get the distinct feeling you have one of those voices that just..... I don't know. Like Donald Southerland or James Cagney. Anyone born in 1941 and still visits a high performance computer forum has just GOT to be extremely cool to talk to!! :D
