On Thursday my Virgin went down for 6hrs and I didn't know what to do with myself.
Anyone else found themselves in this situation before and felt the pain?
I couldn't even play games with myself as the games are linked to steam grrr.

I'd like to think I wouldn't be lost but kind of would be. Would probably read for a bit but couldn't watch netflix or play that many of my games. Might even have to spend time with the mrs!

I'd probably go out and go cinema... Or go to a coffee shop and utilise their Wi-Fi or go to the office :p

Most of the time I spend at home is either working or watching TV/YouTube in which I rely on internet...

I usually find myself absent mindedly picking my ipad up to do/look at something, then remembering there's no internet and put it down again. Rinse and repeat every 5 minutes.

I'm not lost without it - but like Kaiowas I find quite often I absent mindedly go to do something that requires it.

Pretty rare when I'm at home though as we've a backup connection as well as the main FTTC due to people working from home, 4G tethering and multiple open (BT, etc.) WIFI networks in range.

I work at sea, so for 3 months at a time I'm restricted to 130mb a day over the ship's wi-fi system. I normally don't use all of it, but on occasion I do, so it's bloody frustrating not being able to use WhatsApp or send iMessages to the girlfriend.

Conversely though, once I get home, I have no idea what to do with an unrestricted internet connection.

6 hours? Oh no.

Screwed.

Well I'd manage but I would have to get the internet via my phone. I get around 100 emails per day that I need to answer/act on. so being without the internet would be a major issue. So I'd be on my phones hotspot thethered to a laptop.

Or I'd relocate to someones elses house who did have the internet. Costa/starbucks/Maccys etc

Really...NO IDEAS Whatsoever????

Oh I see, 3 months at sea AND a girlfriend you have no need for any of those things when you get home.:D;)

I would have withdrawal symptoms yes, watch a lot of stuff on YT, also can't go a day without a quick game of Boom Beach & Clash Royale.

Mainly YT these forums and google news, all I really use nowadays.

You can thether your 3G/4G from your phone also.
