renault 25 1.4i - Brought this in 1997 to learn to drive in, had a minor accident and found out that it was made of filler and newspaper gave up on the driving for abit mostly financially but my mrs drove so no need to really

nissan micra k11 1.0 - my 1st car after passing my test in 2010 another rotting box

toyota corolla 1.4 se current surprisingly good nick for a 19 yo motor

I like my Golfs :) They may not be the worlds most exciting car nowadays but if you get the right one they can still be fun and are hugely practical (I've moved house several times in my mk2 and mk4). The only car i regret was the mk2 Golf CL which was admittedly very boring and I soon sold it. I loved the TT as it was the only car I've bought new and I managed to sell it a year later with almost no depreciation. It was a great car and I only sold it because I was driving less than 2k in a year. I then got another Golf when I had kids, and the Corrado is just a bit of fun without spending a lot of money.
