How Many Folk Will Need A New Case For The ATI 5870?

Think that when i buy a 5870 i will also be buying a dremel to cut half the inards out of my Coolermaster Elite 335

You sure, wont the power connectors hit on the hdd cage?? Anyway if it does, just take out the cage and chop it up a bit..hehe

no the power sockets are on the side of the card and not on the end.

I cant do that theres 3 HDD in it that cage lol

but looks like it will just fit

My hdds are in the bottom cage.. I would remove the top cage all together, but the cage has the fan and front case covers attached to it :mad:

Guys, the 5870 can fit in my eMachines OEM mATX case of 5 years ago. Just measured it up

Edit: Yes it would be extremely tight and warm.
