Pretty much this. I pushed through to complete Uncharted 4 after buying Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection.

The gameplay was just so boring to me. I managed to get it done but could not play the 2nd game included in the collection. Not putting myself through that!

Yeah for me it was assassins creed valhalla, tried completing it but it was so mundane and boring, just felt like I was doing a bunch of side quests so i deleted it. I have completed uncharted 1 & 2 and from what I remember uncharted 2 was decent, uncharted 4 is in my to play list so I'll see how I get on with it.

I like to get my moneys worth and therefore always try and get 100% of the achievements on any of the games I buy. Grated sometimes it's not possible because one or two of them are totally unrealistic, but I like to try and aim for them as a challenge, and I personally think it's good fun

Sometimes I'll stop at a point and still feel satisfied. An example being BG3, I had no desire to play Act 3 and yet I still class it as one of the most enjoyable games I've played. Had I pushed myself to go through Act 3 I doubt this will have been the case as I was bored of the game play by this point.

I find it difficult to stay engaged with a lot of games these days. I enjoy city builders etc but used to love action/adventure/rpg/big story games when I was younger, but now that I'm in my 50's they all seem very 'been there, done that'.
The last game I completed was Elden Ring (still love the Souls games, that hasn't gone away).
I guess I'm trying to say that I don't complete many, even though I still buy them.

I usually finish the ones that I really get into but with so many games available, and also free to play or straight up giveaway games, I try and quit a whole lot of them too.

I'm terrible for starting games and not finishing them, I think I might have completed 2 games out of 60+ that I started in the last year.
A lot of the time I'm switching between playing 4-5 games during a week, so I progress on them at such a slow pace.

You are a developer/publishers dream :p:D

Gone for the 76-100% if it's a SP game I'll do my best to get as close to 100% run on the first / only play through if I can. MP games that constantly add stuff like Warframe I play daily but no where near 100% completion.

Depends on the game. I finished a few games last year.

Ratchet and Clank - Rift Apart
Hogwarts Legacy
Dead Island 2
Operation Wolf Returns (don't bother)
Last of Us Part 1
Super Mario Wonder

I started playing quite a few besides and have too many games in my various libraries (especially Epic) that I've never even started up.

I usually only like to complete the story line and then I'm kinda done.

I like playing Lego games with the boy and it's quite fun doing the side quests in that but maybe cos I'm spending time with him.

I try to get into a game but I normally decide within the first couple of hours whether I like the game or not.

Jedi survivor really gripped me and made me want to play it, I'm currently doing rise of the tomb raider (a few years late I know), but I'm into the storyline, when I had a Wii I liked playing Zelda it had such a great story line with a bit of combat in and puzzles so kept me interested.

Few games make me want to complete them

0-25% for me.

I tend to revisit games maybe a year later and get stuck in then. I should just save money and buy them in a sale.

Think the last game I completed was Atomic Heart and that got slated :D
