Hardly any tbh, Hogwarts and Farcry 6 were the last 2 games I finished, after that I've tried getting into a few and even as a massive Skyrim / Fallout fan I couldn't finish Starfield.

I finish most, though sometimes I will only install a game just to test it out/check out the RT or upscaling.

Then, I will usually start playing through it proper at another time.

its very difficult for me to tell if I'm genuinely enjoying a game or forcing myself to play it. Unfortunately the older I get the higher the percentage. Most recent was Spider-Man, I got around 80ish percent through before I realized I did not enjoy the game and was forcing myself to play. Rarely any game hooks me right away and I have to play it a while to see if I am enjoying the game and here lies the problem.

never completed a PC game, apparently I got 90% in half life 2 then got bored. Its weird I've got 3k hours in Apex and 350 in Battlefield 2042 never seem to get bored with these sort of games

Usually 100% if I get past the first 10 mins of a game and haven't refunded.

However with a child it takes years to complete a game !

I rarely finish games I buy, probably in the 20 - 25% range. I have the best intentions of doing them all :p If I buy a game and actually start it, then if I make it past the first hour or two, it's probably in the 90%+ range. Only game I can think of in recent memory I've spent a good amount of time on that I never finished would be Jedi Survivor as it's was a buggy/unoptimised mess.

I have a look at videos and then decide if I want to play the game I, typically, will only play the games that appeal to me so I'm more towards the 50-60% mark I'd say.

Just finished Mass Effect Legendary Edition... Steam reports 123 hours and includes all side quests and 86% of the Achievements (109 out of 127 - some you can only get with a 2nd playthrough and with certain character classes)

It really is a fantastic game :)

I'm surprised at comments where people finish a game even if they aren't enjoying it. I wouldn't finish a meal I didn't enjoy just because I paid for it and that takes significantly less time.

I often do it as before, I've had regret a few years down the line not completing it. Not sure why though...

For me it completely depends on the style of game. I get much more involved in a tight, story focused game which is less than 20 hours than massive open world games which can take 80-100 hours to complete.

Games like God of War, Plague Tale, Last of Us I've played regularly until the end, whereas I've dropped off Death Stranding due to the sheer size of it, even though the story and gameplay intrigues me.

I also love those 3-4 hour simplistic games like Inside, Limbo, Little Nightmares as they're engaging but not overwhelming.

I always finish my current game before moving on to the next. 99.9999% of games I complete to the end.

Only a few I haven't over the last 20 years.

Death Stranding and For Honour being two that come to mind.
