How many Gb do you lose?

the maths of it is..

size of hd in gb (say a 400gb drive)

400 divide by 1024, divide by 1024, divide by 1024, times 1,000,000,000 = the 'real size' 372gb

I think it's eaiser to say you lose 24MB for every GB. Also Gb refeers to Gigabit and not byte.
