How many hours a day is your TV on

15 hours - do you realize this could mean 5 hours in one day watching adverts, program trailers etc.

Wouldn't you rather be dead?

One thing I have noticed though...

Long ago "when I were a lad", watching TV used to be a family affair with everyone sitting around watching whatever was on - together. Now we seem to watch TV alone, having particular programs we like individually but which other family members detest. With a few exceptions. Perhaps there is an element of knowing what we want to watch and just watching that rather than the old way of slumping down in front of the goggle box and viewing whatever is on.

Weekdays 4 Hours Max, at the weekends its hardly on at all - got so much to avoid now such as xfactor and all that rubbish!!

My computer on the other hand is a lot!!

I don't personally own a TV, but there is one here. I would say it's on 3-5 hours a day most weekdays and maybe 6 on a weekend.

I have on demand, free to view programming with no ads... known as broadband internet access :D

I haven't turned my TV on in weeks. With BBCi player and C4 on demand thing I don't have a reason to do it now either.
