how many hours has your hard drive been on ?

didnt know about the program seatools and thought i would give it a go and see how many hours my samsung f1 has been on.

post your time's....only if you want to.

my drive is about 2 years old i think.

most I can get it to tell me is 845 hours

12258 for my Maxtor, have others but thats clocked the most hours.

What the MTTF 1,000,000 hours or somthing normally?

MTBF doesn't really mean much in the real world though, as they're not actually tested for that length of time.
They use multiple drives to achieve that time...

4057 Days or 11.1 years?? That doesnt sound right, the laptop is only 3.5 years old!

Similar to EniGmA1981, 16513 hours for my WD Caviar Blue 500GB (WD5000AAKS) and 9225 hours for my Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB (ST31500341AS).

HDTune (get the free version) can show you how many hours your hard drive has been on as well, amongst other things.
