How many lessons?

Same, with no other practice or previous driving experience. It was enough to get me thought the test but I wouldn't ever dream of saying I was anything like a good driver then.

heh, I had been riding a bike for a year before so had decent road knowledge had to just learn how to work a car, the thing that took me the longest was spacial awareness going from bike to car :p

The problem I had was it is 25mins drive to the nearest test centre, so to go around any routes required 2hour lessons (from home).
Also a taxi driver rear ended the 2 week old mini (instructers car) on my test when I was parked at a red light - Test got canceled:(

The first test was 29hours of lessons, the second was a few more.

When the accident happened on the 1st test I had no majors so can only assume I would have passed:)

7 hrs including the three hour assessment at the start and the test itself and an hour before the test (which, had it been my test, I would have flunked badly)

can't remember 10-15?
whatever the minimum was, although i did have to drive 10 months on a provisional before being able to take my test though

26 or so hours i think.

But now they're recommending a minimum of 50 aren't they?!

Glad i'm not in that boat!

22 hours + 2 hours just before test (as I hadn't been behind a car for about a month at that point due to life commitments), no practice outside of that, passed first time with 2 minors (this was what 2+ years ago now?)

I had loads. :/

was with a guy with a micra for a while but i wasnt learning anything and the car was too small.

Insert money problems

6 months later did another cycle of tests, passed first time though :)
