How many miles do you get for approx £50

580 miles on £55

that's with 200BHP, 450Nm or torque..

That's my normal commuting MPG.. driven more sensibly, it'd be closer to 660 miles..

Driven like I stole it, I'd still manage 450+

Diesel Powa !!!!

In the Fiat - lots. Well over 400.

In the Olds - we-e-e-ell.....£60 when I bought it got us 120-ish miles when the emissions control wasn't working (siezed pump), which meant slightly increased consumption. So I'd say that £60 now would get it 120-130 miles.

Think I win the "ludicrous fuel consumption" competition there.....

***edit***

That's running it around town (which is mostly the kind of driving it's seen so far). On a motorway cruise it'll get much better FC, 20mpg is possible if you can cruise at 55-60mph all day.

On first impressions it appears that I'm getting around 370 miles from £50. That was my first few tanks so the novelty of 2nd cam definitely hasn't worn off it you get my meaning :D

£40 will get me 330 Miles, Thats Full until the Rover Fuel Guage is Hovering around red, which means i still have around 10-15 Litres Left, so £50 should get me around 400, dont want to run near empty because of guages inaccuracy though, lol

Rover Coupe VVC btw

750 for me

Mondeo ST220 ;)

Gotta love 38p per litre ! :D

I guess you're running on LPG :p

I get 350-400 miles to a tank in my Mondeo, depending on how it's driven. On the motorway it can do far better...

About 375 miles from £50 on my MG ZR 1.8 120+ (working it out using my average consumption as the tank only takes about 40l from the red line to the brim)

Works out at about 34mpg. That's with a mix of driving urban/extra urban and accelerating briskly

Purely urban driving gives about 30mpg, that's about 330 miles to £50

I reckon I will win.....

Rough calculation, I get 480 miles from £39 so 677 miles!
and thats mostly town driving with a bit of motorway, and most of the time it has to be thrashed. they guy I swapped the car with was a bit of a pipe and slippers driver and said when he drove it to spain he was getting nearly 600 miles to a tank!

I knew there was a reason I was subjecting myself to the pain of driving this 1.3 CDTI corsa, annother 2 or 3 months then I wilol have enough saved up!

From ~50L I usually get less then 300 miles. Though all I do is couple of miles of town driving about 6 times a week and the rest is country road driving, where I don't care about mpg at all, so really a tank lasts me about 2 weeks.
