I have somthing similar that the mother in law bought me for xmas last year, from woolworths 3 colour cycleing orbs that live on a charging station. Each has a little switch on the bottom and they glow for about 12hrs make fantastic mood lighting when you know your lucks in

yeah the difference is with the orb is that you can define what colour for it to go - for like a purpose, rather than to just impress the girlies

Reminds me (even though I haven't seen any movies) of the ring of light on the xbox 360 when you turn it on. Don't worry... I'm very tired and I don't make sense anyway.
