Intel i7 6950X Leaked Benchmarks
http://www.overclock3d.net/articles/cpu_mainboard/intel_i7_6950x_leaked_benchmarks/1
With both CPUs running at 4.0GHz this shows a decrease in IPC with Broadwell-E.
It's laughable when people are trying to justify Broadwell-E with a few percent performance like that would make things better.
Broadwell-E should have been massively faster then Haswell-E. It's been almost 2.5 years between chips and considering the node shrink is almost 50% the chips should also come with hefty price drops.
How many of you are going to get a Skylake-E CPU?
It's slightly slower than Broardwell but offers 8-12 coresThe good thing is it comes with a decent price hike

Supporters? Are AMD a football team now? What's really laughable is AMD supporters criticising Intel for a slowdown in development.
It's two extra cores inside the same thermal envelope as before, what more do you expect? a 50% performance increase when AMD still haven't developed a core faster than Intel's Nehalem architecture from 2008?
If AMD hadn't abandoned their latest architecture they'd have been dishing out the same small increments in performance until Zen, like they've been doing with their APU's.

I need to stop visiting this place, it's just too crazy for me.
