How many planets?

Had a bit of a debate with my housemate last night, and I was right. I have googled the answer already.

But how many of you know the right answer...

How many planets are there in our solar system?

I loved Physics and maths, A and O level high passes. But that was years ago when Pluto was still classed as a Planet.

Haha no way, I didn't know that. There's been a debate for years as to whether it was an escaped moon of Neptune.
