How many times have you bought the same console/game?

Bought a Fat PS2 and a slim PS2.
Bought a DS then sold it, then bought a DS lite (should sell that too really).
Bought GTA IV for both PS3 and xbox 360.
Bought PES 2008 for both PS3 and xbox 360.
Bought Halo for PC and then got it free with my xbox.
 
I bought a 2nd mega drive recently, bit worried my current one might die and i will never ever be able to replace it. plus they are fairly cheap so might as well stock up :D
Same with my snes bought a 2nd one of those.
As for games the only game ive ever had to buy again was Guitar hero 2. I accidently smashed the game CD so i was forced to buy another.
 
Jet set radio for the dreamcast, bought it, returned it, regreted it, bought it again.

COD4 I have for both 360 and PC

Assasin's creed I have for both 360 and PC

Mass Effect I have for both 360 and PC.

What's far more scary is the amount of copies of World of Warcraft my brother and friends have gone through.
 
the only game ive ever bought twice was marvel vs capcom 2, once for the dreamcast and once for the ps2 (because i sold my dc)

the only console ive bought twice is the ps2 because my first one broke.
 
Never. If I buy something it's usually because I want enough to keep it, and if I sell something it's usually because I won't want it again in the future.
 
I bought a 2nd Xbox 360 as a week before Halo 3 came out, my first one got the red rings of death.

Only now am I returning the 1st Xbox to get repaired!
 
Think ive paid for ff7 about 3 times. Got a perfect original ps copy now so ill not be buying it again lol

Same here....

Can't understand why you would buy something twice unless the original stopped working. Even then I'd have to really want it still, but then I'm not big on nostalgia.
 
Bought a second 360 as my first one died, sold a 60GB PS3 for a silly amount and will buy another one when they're half the price I sold mine for (pwned Streeteh) and I bought StarCraft 4 times but I've never sold a copy of it.
 
Ah, Starcraft, Yeah I've owned that 2 or 3 times, First copy got scratched to hell due to Carrying it to and from my friends every weekend.

2nd copy just kinda walked away, and I have my third copy on my shelf nice and safe.

I done the exact same thing but not for Halo 3. I just planned to send the broken one back and then sell it when it did come back. Instead, i fixed it myself (still going strong) and haven't sold it! :D

Also bought 3 PSP's and ended up selling them all. My scatter cash days are over though, so i won't be buying multiples again of anything! Damn mortgage and house renovation! :(
 
I got halo 2 for vista for £10 after I got it on xbox when it first came out for £40, my dad buys a lot of games on pc that I already have on xbox because he can't use a controller =/
