How many times have you bought the same console/game?

Obviously since i made the original statement i don't sell my consoles. What i do regret is trading in suikoden for £2, firstly because it is a brilliant game and secondly because i've seen how much it's worth on ebay these days. :eek:
 
GRAW2 is the only game I've ever sold then bought again. Think it was because the online scene kick started again, but unfortunately that didn't last long.

Lsat year I got a N64 again with a friend just to releave old times playing WCW/NWO Revenge, WWF No Mercy and Goldeneye :)
 
bought a PS2 twice, bought a PS3 twice, bought a Wii twice, considering buying a 360 for the second time.!!!

recently bought Motorstorm & Assassins Creed for the second time and COD4 I have played on PC and PS3 too.
 
bought oblivion limited ed on release, later bought a copy for my 360 then over a year later bought game of the year edition, and i havnt even played it beyond the first 4 hours :S
 
Paid for Diablo II + Expansion three times, and Warcraft III twice.

All other games are in mint condition on my shelf, Blizzard games seem to go walkabout.
 
Thanks to a wonderful thing called online renting, I haven't bought the same game twice in a very long time. I rent something and, if I like it enough, then buy it :) Call of Duty 4 and Burnout Paradise spring to mind.

As for consoles... I've bought two 360s, not because I sold the first, but because I was impatient with Microsoft taking so long to repair it :D Sods Law that it arrived back a few days later :p
 
think ive bought about 6 psps now since they've come out. for some reason i end up buying one then selling it when i get bored then buying another one later on in the year
 
ive bought cod4 three times for the ps3 and just the once for the 360
and i have bought or acquired three xbox 360's and around six or seven nintendo wiis
i have also bought a number of cross platform games on both 360 and ps3 and sold the ps3 versions
 
Bought a release day 360 but i had sold it again within 3 days on a popular auction site for 3 times what i paid for it. Never even opened it. Eventually bought one for myself to play somtime last year.

Did something similar with the PS3 on release day too. But i pre-ordered and bought 2 and sold one on the same popular auction site for roughly twice what i paid for it about a week later when they had sold out. So in actual fact it cost me nothing :D

As for games i think i currently own 4 copies of FF8 for no apparent reason :confused:
 
jona lomu rugby, i've bought it 3 times for the playstation, keep lending it out and forgetting who has it
 
I have to be honest, I used to trade in quite a few games.

Recently though, I just keep them all. I find I either regret parting ways with them, or I just feel bitter at the pitiful amount (compared to how much I originally purchased it for) I get in return.
 
Have bought loco roco for he PSP 3 times now :p

Also bought 2 PSPs but that was due to a slight accident with one :p
 
I bought FF7 twice on release day, 1 of which is still sealed :) Also bought 2 360's, my release one died about 3 months ago and I thought id just go and buy an Elite :D
 
I've had quite a few :o used to do lots of trade ins.

3x Dreamcast, 1 i still have.
3x n64, again i still have one.
4x ps1's 3 which were phat.
3x ps2's
2x xbox.

and lots pf games lol, once i get bored i tend to try a new system untill i go back to what i had.
