I have a script for random number generator to spit out a randomly generated number of X's dependent on an algorithm.

Or - does it matter? It's your call.

I don't usually do any but it has been known in response.

Often if you start claiming them in person they usually stop. Especially you fellas x'ing your mates.
 
i used to do xXx till i got bored of her getting upset because i wasnt on 24 hour call on my mobile or not having a silent conversation when im trying to work and binned her.
 
For texts, my younger two kids add loads but my eldest just one. Girlfriends also usually just add one.

Recently took the kids to a TGI and the waitress wrote her name with an x at the end on the bill. Either she was being very kind or it was just an automatic sort of alternative to the full stop.
 
Never bother when texting, when on msn though I just normaly hold the x key for a second or so, never put much thought into it really.

Depends who it is too, and what it's about, but usually 1, or maybe 2, of loads if its someone who needs cheering up. Not sure why X's are meant to make people feel better mind you lol :p.
 
i have a friend who used to put xxxxxxxx then ctrl + c then ctrl + v so it ended up as

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

and so on and so forth, this was to his girlfriend...he was 20.
 
haha quality, all that just seems kinda needy to me, x is just a letter, i'd prefer to show or write my affection properly, which is why i stick to the one, i'll try out some more soon though lol ;)
 
I give kisses to everyone, close guy mates tend to get loads of x's but that's an in joke type thing. The girl I'm interested in at the moment only ever gets a phonecall :)
