How much does a pint of beer cost where you live?

Here in Putney you're looking at a fiver a pint on average. Some cheaper, some more expensive. Spoons is still usually the cheapest and the trendy bars want close to a tenner.

I was recently up north and the pints at some of the pubs were £2.50. I honestly thought the course guy was having us on until he proved it. It was the kind of pub where hope goes to die though (like most of the North really).

Stafford over 'ere.

Wetherspoon pints are all under £4. Coors being £3, Guinness about £3.50, Punk IPA and San Miguel nearer to £4. Check out Nethergate Growling Dog (440ml can), really nice, £3.80.

Somewhere local in Stafford, looking at £4 a pint or just over.

Microbrewery in Stafford, around £5 a pint. A few good micro pubs in Stafford.

I have not been to a pub in years and looking at these prices I am glad I haven't

I have also read about pubs putting the prices up during busy periods or when football is on as well etc.

No more happy hour!

Generally €3.90 - €4.50. That's in a city centre pub, domestic premium beer (you won't really find Eurolagers like Peroni/San Miguel etc here)

Just checked the pub where I go most often, bit more than I thought actually.

€ 4.60 Stiegl, Goldbrau, 4.9% alc, Austria

€ 4.60 Wieselburger, 5% alc, Austria

€ 4.70 Murauer, 5,2 alc, Austria

€ 4.70 Trumer Pils, 4.9% alc, Austria

€ 4.60 Ottakringer Helles, 5,2% alc, Vienna, Austria

€ 4.70 Kozel Premium Lager, 4.6% alc, Czech Republic

€ 4.80 Heineken, 5.2%, Holland

Zwickl Beer (unfiltered and naturally cloudy)
€ 4.70 Stiegl Paracelsus, 5% alc, Bio or Organic, Austria

IPA (Indian Pale Ale)
€ 5.60 Brewdog, 5.4% alc, Scotland

Usually just under 5 or just over 5 for a moretti/peroni etc

I'm happy if it's under 5.

Its not so bad as 99 percent of the time in driving so it's only 1.
In fact. Can't remember last time I didn't drive.

Depends my local is £3.50 for Guinness but if you go to ‘Spoons you can get Ruffles for £1.77, I do like the local German bar where I can get Warsteiner for £6.50 or so

In another thread on here (Discussing vacations in the Canaries) someone said a pint of beer costs around a tenner where they live

I was 40 when I had my first pint, blokes from work took me to a proper drinkers pub because I used to always say all beer tastes the same even though I wouldn't know.
Funnily enough I went to that same pub with Spie a couple of times.

Sorry but that's rubbish.
I often holiday in The Canaries including earlier this year.
Bars will outdo each other for the cheapest pint of Spanish lager but Guinness is around 5 Euro's.
