how much does it cost you to get to work?

I live 1 mile from work. I still drive as I get free gym membership so I go at lunch, which I couldn't do if I walked. I reckon petrol is about £30 a month.

6%. That's my monthly total fuel cost against income though, rather than just fuel for work.

Most of the time i'll need to go to school in the morning to drop the kids off first, which is a couple of miles in the opposite direction, so that's factored in too.

About 10%, which sounds bad, but thats doing 4400 miles per month commuting.

I should get a more economical car, i would save a lot of money. The issue is that i hate every economical car which i can think of. :(

It's going to be about £190 for fuel on average. 23 miles each way 5 days a week. 15% of what I'm paid :(

Hmm, difficult to calculate as I'm not in the office every day and I have a fuel card. For the days I am in the office though I do a 120 mile round trip, say 3 days a week average, it would work out to about 1.7% after the tax hit on the fuel card cost.

Depend really.
Could be £12 a day if I'm in London, or 50p-£2 a day if local.

Right now free, jumping in other cars :)

Three miles up the road and free staff parking.

So probably less than a fiver a week.

200 miles so probably about £20-30/week? 2-3%?

Going down to 0/week next year as I'll be walking/cycling again, yay!
