I passed about 3 months ago, so far i have spent;

2000 on car, a, erm, punto.

1400 on insurance

400 on a new head gasket and all the things it took with it

40 on new brake pads

about 80 a month on petrol

and to top it all off someone smashed my passenger window and nicked my ipod (cunningly hidden in the glovebox)

Wish i still had that bus pass!

13,000 on car
3,500 on insurance
500 on tyre and alloy when it met with the central reservation
360 on shocks and toe-link as pre-existing conditions (though got 200 back from the dealer).
and however much this dead headlamp will cost, probably about a tenner :p

£850 for the car,
Then had new clutch cable, new leads, new thermostat, new dizzy cap which came to £140 inc labour.
Tax £93.50

Insurance is £1700 and lots of petrol, so probably about £3000...

£7.2k on car
£403 on insurance
~£3k on turbo conversion + brake & pads upgrades

New tyres in a couple of weeks + full geo setup - probably set me back a couple of hundred quid.

Still have a bit more to spend - i.e. new exhaust system, new ecu + bigger injectors, new clutch (probably the next thing to change as it's starting to slip :()

£3,500 for the car
£840 for insurance
£200 on CD player and gubbins

And [touch wood] thats it so far.

Got a service coming up, MOT and Tax in August, need 4 new tyres (loads of tread but they're scary in the wet ), new shocks and srings also planned.

:)
