How much must direct line loose not being on comparrison sites?

oh lol.

i currently pay admiral £660 a year. just ran a quote with directline...£1350....really directline?

Ironically they used to be by far the cheapest when i was under 20...even when i had a 3 litre petrol at 20 years old they were cheap...same car at 21 was triple the price.

Oh and i find comparison sites to give me cheaper quotes than going direct to the insurer too!

I've used DL a couple of times for 4-5 years each as they provided good cover at low prices. For some reason their computer took offence a couple of years ago. Renewal quote doubled, phoned up and discussed it with them and it came back to the previous years price +£20. Year after they tripled it, wouldn't budge and couldn't explain why it had gone up. Not like I'm a bad risk. 15+ years experience, full no claims. Moved insurer and it's back under the original price.

Lol?

I have been a named driver all my driving life, and i do in fact have a 5 years no claims bonus to my name. I asked them.

That's why its only £50 extra to add me to my missus policy for 12 months! I am a 24yr old male.

I asked them too. When it came down to providing that in writing for one of their own or another insurers policy (not named, policy holder), they refused.

You may well get a nasty shock when you want to become a policy holder.

Also, lol?
