How much sleep

i average 6 hours on the whole.

i went camping few weeks back and i couldn't get to sleep in the ten,t and i had a big walk the next day. i only had 1 hour sleep , but felt great during and after the walk.

after a pint or 2 later on that night, i felt the tiredness kick in. i slept like a blind child later that night.

I need to get to bed earlier :( I look awful bloody dark circles.

Go to bed about 11pm and up at 7am.

Damn the tv for having good movies on late on school nights!!! *shakes fist*

Varies a lot, but usually around 7 hours.

Met a guy on holiday a few years ago who had a conditions in which no matter what, he got 4 hours sleep no matter what he did and always woke up within a few minutes of those 4 hours, and he said he felt absolutely fine everyday.

I can't get to sleep until i'm more than knackered, and generally sleep lightly and wake up often and can never sleep in. I also suffer from sleep paralysis so my sleep ranges from 4-8 hours usually. I can usually sleep better and longer if it's with the gf.

about 8 hours a night, If left alone considerably more. Back during the busy terms of uni I was averaging 5 in the weekdays though. Absolute killer, I do not recommend it

You are sleeping up to 11.5hours a day? are you a new born baby? Honestly that's not right at all unless you have a exceptionally physical or mentally challenging job.

Where did you get 11.5 hours from? I get around 8 hours if possible, yes the job is physical. 10pm-5am = 7 hours at night + 1-2 hours in the afternoon.

Usually go to bed about 11pm/ midnight, get up just before 5 sometimes earlier for work.
On the weekends i'll make more of a point to get 8 hours of sleep, but I will never sleep past noon, even if I don't get in from town til 6-7 in the morning.

I usually seem to get about 8 hours but I always feel tired when I get up at 7am so I'm going to attempt to stay up a bit later tonite and get around 7 hours just to see if I feel any more awake. Wish me luck :D

at the moment its pretty clockwork, to sleep for 2am and up for 7am. Sometimes i can steal a nap in the day but not often.

For me it entirely depends on what i'm doing the next day. For example, i had coaching assessments from 10-5. I had 3 hours sleep last night but i didn't feel it at all during the day as adrenaline was beating the tiredness. If however, my day is more mundane and involves a lot of quiet relaxed periods, i often feel like falling asleep and cannot concentrate on anything. On an average day, i don't feel tired if i've had about 9 hours sleep.
