How much sleep

11.30/12am - 7.30am on average. 6 month old lad still wakes up quite often at 3ish, which is annoying.
 
I usually get 7+ hours sleep per night. Around 7.5 seems optimum for me. Now and again I'll sleep for longer but it doesn't occur often.
 
On work nights I like 7.5-8 hours.
On non-work nights (on holiday this week) I will have 8.5-ish hours, just because I can.

There is nothing worse than having a long day at work whilst tired.
 
Bank holiday Monday evening I knew I could stay up late since Tuesday is my normal day off anyway. Problem was I overslept by several hours. Instead of waking up at a 'reasonable' hour on Tuesday morning, I awoke at half past two, in the afternoon! Of course, I couldn't sleep that easily last night so I only got about four hours kip. Luckily this rarely happens. Hope I don't sleep past my stop on the bus tonight. :D
 
I am trying to get into a routine of 11pm/12 to go to bed with getting up at 6:30/7 (depending on children).

I find if I go to bed early 9:30 and sleep until 7 I feel terrible the next day.

I am also trying to get up at the same time so I have a regular sleep pattern of 7ish hours.
 
bed at 11:00pm or 12:00am, and up at 6:55 if getting the bus to work. or up at 7:30 if taking the scooter.

weekends are the same, usually up about half 7, 8am with the missus and the little'un (regardless of a heavy night out! :s )
 
4 - 5 hours, bed at 12ish up at 5.

This is not enough sleep, I find myself falling asleep during the day at every and any opportunity.

New studies have suggested anything above or below 7-8 hours per day can be harmful.
 
Normally I go to sleep between 22:00 and 22:30 and get up around 05:15-05:30 ... this gives me around 7 hours sleep which is really the minimum I want.

The upside it that getting up at 07:00 feels like a nice long sleep ...
 
I get a few hours a night and usually have a power nap during the day if I can.

More power naps = better well being after taking the nap and better collection of thoughts :D
 
bed around midnight, up at 7 for work

on the weekends.....it varies but i get a lot (read: too much) on weekends

^^exactly the same, I wake up super annoyed at myself for sleeping in (anywhere between 10/11/12) but I still do it every time :(

Either way its not enough sleep, I am tired all of the time.
