My HTPC has a 500GB HDD but i stream everything from my main pc which has

1x 1.5Tb SATA
1x 1.0Tb SATA
750Gb WD External
500Gb WD External

Looking to buy 2x 2Tb now to replace the entire lot (to lower the heat and noise) but waiting till prices drop

I need more, although I don't think you ever have enough...

Not had the external drive long and am very pleased with it, might get another one as I'm sick of trying to find DVDs.

Main HTPC has 1x500GB and 1x1TB
Bedroom HTPC has 2x500GB

Both have access to server/nas storage over gigabit wired networks. At current rate of growth both will probably need upgrades in the summer.

Currently got 2 x 640gb Western Digital drives in my HTPC, tons of space left although i do admit my collections could be much bigger, got a habit of deleting stuff after i watch them.

But 3x750 in the fileserver.

I've got 1x 1Tb spare at the moment, waiting to pick up a couple more to put those into the fileserver as well.

All in RAID-Z too.

1.2tb (no room left

),1TB and 1x 200GB although it's on my main pc. Need more, much more. estimate I need 6Tb for my dvd collection and I've just started buying blu-rays so not sure if I'll bung them on or not at 50GB per film :eek:
