8GB would be plenty for me as well. Even if I go back to 4K, I would still say 8GB would be fine.

Cheers Setter, I asked for less than 2GB - 2GB - 4GB - 8GB - more than 8GB, so if 6GB could be added as well (I missed that :o) that would be cool :)
 
8GB minimum I'd say, 12GB would be better or 16GB for a bit of future-proofing.
I doubt many of us thought we'd be seeing nearly 6GB used at 1080p, so for 4K 8GB doesn't seem like that much going forward.

EDIT:
What is it AMDMatt said, you can never have enough VRAM? (or was it you can never have too much VRAM? either way...)
