How much will your monthly pension be?

Quite lost on the NHS pension. Lots of different calculators out here. Certainly at a disadvantage being early thirties, but should reach decent income in 5-6 years.

My career pension ignoring state pension and other investments -

Retire at 55 - 108000 lump sum and 18100 a year

Retire at 60 - 171000 lump sum and 27850 a year

Not sure really. My Kiwisaver (it's a thing here) says that I should be due a payment around 400k upon retirement. Then whatever the state pension here may be.

Probably too far in advance to say for certain but I have little doubt that I'll be in great financial shape upon retirement.

I have no idea. I do get a pension booklet once a year but never looked at it properly.

All I know is I have a 'Final Salary' pension so I guess it all depends on my salary in the years before I retire... (Im 30 now)

As is mine and one of the reasons for retiring sooner rather than later is the fear that at some point in the future, the organization might decide to try and downgrade it to something less cushtie.
