Quite lost on the NHS pension. Lots of different calculators out here. Certainly at a disadvantage being early thirties, but should reach decent income in 5-6 years.
Not sure really. My Kiwisaver (it's a thing here) says that I should be due a payment around 400k upon retirement. Then whatever the state pension here may be.
Probably too far in advance to say for certain but I have little doubt that I'll be in great financial shape upon retirement.
As is mine and one of the reasons for retiring sooner rather than later is the fear that at some point in the future, the organization might decide to try and downgrade it to something less cushtie.
