My mouse is technologically sound but the mouse feet are worn on one side and although its smooth to use it looks little grimey. I have the logitech G5 and it was a big improvement over the Microsoft intellimouse in terms of sensitivity (which I need and I only twitch my wrist rather than move my whole arm to use the mouse). Is there anything out that is actually better than the logitech G5? I was surprised that it made a difference going from my previous mouse to current.

I alwasy change because I'm bored with model I have, not that I used it to its limits.
Last time I changed my mouse after 4 years to MX518. Always Logitech:)
I had it for 3 years now. Don't see any upgrade, maybe sth in the future.
Keybard may look for a change right now:)

I've bought mouse "skates" before just some replacement slidey feet but they don't feet aswell as the original feet. I was running with one corner having a superglued piece of plastic with the intellimouse.

I never thought of mice as consumables though.

Ring Logitech & the Nice man will send you New feet for nowt, get on it Now. Logitech Pawn All for customer service, Fact.

O & my MX518 is part of my body & I will be buried with it.

it's all about the microsoft mouse

i think at some point in our lives - we have all used that mouse!

im personally using a lachesis here atm

still cant find a mouse im 100% happy with but the lachesis comes pretty close

i change when i can as im yet to find a mouse that i really really like

as mentioned before - ask logitech - they will probably send you new feet for your mouse

I have one at home on the family desktop, and I use one at uni with my laptop. It's the perfect mouse.

The only difference between the two is that mine is white and the home one is black :p

I still have one somewhere but the 518 kicked it's face in when it arrived & I've not seen it since.

Lies! I bet that the mighty microsoft mouse can outlast ten of those posers.
