How often do you hoover?

Usually once a week, depending on my shift pattern.

Will sometimes supplement that going round with the carpet sweeper.

I do it when the bits on the floor start to annoy me or when I'm having visitors.

I'd do it more often but the several hours of tidying up what's on the floor to start with is a chore :p

Same with me really.

My mother, grandmother and a lot of other people I know (that are a fair bit older than me) generally hoover once a day.
 
Every other day due to being asthmatic and having two house cats, tortoise, four chinchillas and a gerbil.

At least once a week.

I was terrible for getting the vaccum (Henry) out and doing the whole house for the sake of a few crumbs, or a bit of fluff. Now we've got a dust-buster hand-held thingy, so i just use that instead.

Been in the house a year or so now and we've done under the Sofa's twice, incredible to see how much dust gathers there!
 
About once a month, only because i hoover my PC out once a month so may as well do the floor at the same time :D.
 
It gets done once a day, of all the household chores it bothers me the least. Also if I'm having a lie in and someone starts vacuuming i bloody love it, sends me right off to sleep nicely. Must be a throwback from my childhood.
 
my mother does it every single day. despite only being in the house (awake) herself for about 4 hours a day and no one else really every coming in the house either :/

personally i see it as pointless unless someone who might care is coming round (royalty ? )
but then again apparently im lazy
