How often do you revisit games?

I usually hop around a lot and rarely actually complete a game. All the big 2013 games are uncompleted with about 6h each but I've tried multiple times. I just can't seem to get into games these days and end up playing the same games like Skyrim fallouts mass effects Mafia and kerbal space programme :/

I (like everyone else probably) have serious game ADHD, therefore I start one, then get instantly bored and start another. Many of my Steam games have amounts like '7 minutes played' next to them :p

Oh and I can't stop buying games, so it becomes a never-ending problem

This. My Steam catalogue of exactly 200 games is a big non-played joke mainly.

This, the only game i've completed recently is Spintercell Blacklist other than that i don't think i've ever completed one!

If I have some down time between A+ games then I'll replay something last being FFVII.

Bought so many games with a lot of bundle deals my game completion rate is at 30%.

Also now i am sucked in with Diablo 3 now so no steam games getting a look at for now.

Very rarely...

Replayed Fallout Tactics serval times on long business trips as it runs well on an old Bootcamped MacBook Pro.

Replayed Borderlands 2 as a Mechromancer, but got bored halfway through.

Skyrim - only just completed the achievements on it, but will probably still be playing it in 2 years time.

Minecraft - Frequently give this up then find myself on a mates server.

X-Rebirth - Now installed this 4 times, played for about 20 hours in total and keep deleting it in disgust, one of these days I'll get into it.

I don't normally replay games, especially ones with a strong story element such as RPGs. How you managed to clock thousands of hours on the ME series, considering its weak gameplay, is a mystery for me. The games I replay are those that offer more content during replays (such as Borderlands, Dark Souls, Diablo).

I don't preorder and always research before buying so the games rarely let me down. When it happens anyway, I drop it and I don't touch it unless the devs make major improvements (dropped Civ5 a few hours into the first game at release, didn't touch it until the latest expansion).

I pretty much never revisit modern PC games after i finish them, i think most modern AAA games console/pc ports lack replay value.

Old Nintendo games still get a revisit every now and then, and i think their current releases will also get a revisit from me later on. There's just some magical quality about Nintendo games, that other games just don't seem to have.

Depends on the genre of game for me, linear games don't generally get a replay until months or years down the line. Multiplayer and open world games get played and replayed much more often.

Not as often as I'd like. I'd really like to play through HL2 + the episodes again soon, play some of the earlier Hitman games again (specifically Blood Money), but I've got such a backlog of games I haven't even played yet (both on PC and consoles) that it just isn't feasible.

When my gf had a no-dedicated-graphics laptop, I did rekindle some oldies:

Heroes of Might & Magic 3
Quest For Glory 4
Leisure Suit Larry: Love For Sail

Other than that, I have't replayed anything, but will probably replay Psychonauts in the future.

My problem is my memory is pretty stellar, so I find it hard to enjoy a game the second time as I remember all the plot points and details perfectly.

Same for movies. Usually you would go back to watch a movie you hadn't seen in 5 years and it would feel fresh as you'd forgotten a lot of it. Never seem that way for me..

Wow, not the theme I was expecting. Im pretty surprised the amount of games people buy and never play, or only play for a short while. For me a game with a good story is better than a book. This is why I love Mass Effect so much, I think I'm addicted to that universe. The Skyrim story is a bit weaker but it has just as much background and lore so I can easiy replay that as there is so much to do!

You're one of a kind :p

im doing my 4th run of SupCom 2 campaign...(since release) no idea why...Maybe because
I love Commander Gauge!

I revisit the Mass Effect games quite often, very difficult to get bored with them in my opinion as they are such great games. Also, I tend to go back on Skyrim every once in a while, still need to play the Dragonborn DLC.

FF7 - must have done the storyline about 14 times now.... still never defeated ruby/emerald weapon lvl 100 is too much of a ball ache to grind to.

all the halo games, i love the storyline in them, and its just such a smooth fps to play, even after 10 years its a classy game

skyrim... dear god, someone pry this game from my hands

and the dreaded fifa... i continue to go back to this abomination of series due to my love of football and hatred for the game, i hate it and i love it at the same time. there is no other game in the world that is more frustrating than fifa..... even flappy bird
