How often do you use DDU in safe mode to uninstall GPU drivers?

I only used DDU to clear out drivers when changing GPUs. The Radeon sw suite has been taking care of updates seamlessly every since I first installed for use with my Vega 56.

I used to use DDU for quite a while. These days however I do quite a bit of weird custom stuff via the NVCP with resolutions and 'desktop size and position' and stuff, and if you use DDU or clean install it wipes it all out so you have to re-do everything every time you update drivers. So these days I just use Geforce Experience and upgrade over the top which keeps all custom settings and tweaks. Works perfect, no issues.

Use it occasionally but unless your having problems, the clean install option for the driver is enough.

I can't say it's ever done any harm using it though.

On one Windows installation, I've changed video cards and motherboards, from Intel to AMD and it worked just fine after it updated its own drivers. So I just install new driver and that's it - driver manually downloaded from Nvidia's site.

Used it when going from a GTX1080 to a 7900XTX. It just felt like the easiest route to removing all Nvidia drivers, whether it's necessary or not.
