so if i am adjusting it quite a bit (depending on if doing squats/bench press etc), quite a chance that theres going to be one time i don't tighten it ...![]()
Why not use two sets of J hooks permanently set at different heights which negates the need to alter them often? However if you're not sure of your abilities to put together a bit of scaffolding safely then I'd suggest you save up more and buy a proper powercage.
