How the hell do Currys stay in business?

lol, 2 pints and buying junk food precluded from learning a new skill.

(The chicken portions I was referring to aren't junk food if they're on a hot food to go section. They can be eaten straight out of the bag but they can get a bit messy. If your local tesco does them, I suggest you try them. Anyway, when I first enquired at CURRYS I was told the job'd take half an hour but when I went in on Wednesday at 10.30 am I was told to come back at 2.00 pm so somebody on the staff gave me false information.)

I really did trust you lot and what you told me about doing the job myself and I really was going to attempt it myself but I wasn't too sure about the size and type of screwdriver as I didn't want to risk knackering the screws ( I tried the ones I had ready and had a sheet of paper with markers for the screws lined up). Anyway, job's done and having it done at Currys was one of my options. I could have had it done in the Manchester Arndale Market at a stall where I had my LINX 12*64 dealt with (problem with charging it up) last year which was another option.
But I really did want to do it myself to give myself a sense of achievement.

In my experience of Currys I've had nothing but good service and the two salesmen I was talking to last year were really assuring and ordered my Lenovo for me (another saga which left me considering my options as I didn't have a second choice). With all that tech and the different models and the different specs I don't know how the sales staff there do it as I couldn't do it myself (information overload) and last year one of them pointed me in the direction of an SD card reader that actually works

To be fair, that doesn't mean anyone lied. I think the job is just 30 minutes... but what if they have 5 other jobs to do first? (Mind you, I'm not sure how long an OS install takes these days?)

TBH Currys have really upped their game over the past year or so in terms of pricing, often have a £5 voucher on so they have been the cheapest for a few things.

Biggest issue I have with Currys is their site...

I cant get it to take my account details and every attempt to do an account details reset DOES NOT WORK, I reset the password and the resets dont work and thats if it get to me in time as often not its late, to late to be accepted for the reset. I once tried to find a number to call about it and got a number for someone that basically wasn't interested and couldn't tell me who I should speak to before hanging up on me.

Never been a great company but they are worse than ever imo, even the stock levels have been a shamble for many year for my part of Scotland.
