How to cook yolk in egg?

Agreed, I normally put them in a pan for like 1 minute max then get em out, as long as most of the white is cooked I eat them, I like the yoke runny and pretty much raw. I'm still standing so it can't be a particularly bad method.

Thanks a lot,

I have dumbbells, should I still hold them beside the neck, or like they do on exrx

http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Quadriceps/DBSquat.html

Get a barbell ;).

But seriously, I am not so convinced of the idea with holding them by the side of you as I can see it as being difficult to do full (all the way down) squats without them hitting the floor especially with bigger weights.

Placing the dumbell at the top of the neck I think may cause problems with the arm position, discomfort of the weight plates digging in, the barbell has the weight distributed over the whole bar area in contact whilst a dumbell will only have the edge of the discs in contact, and balance with the arms in that position.

Possibly doing them on a raised platform with the weights by your side would be a good start, just so the dumbells cannot touch the ground at the bottom of the movement.

It is so much better doing it with a barbell though IMHO as the load is on the shoulders which can take much more than the fingers. Of course to take the big loads you either need to be damn strong (like a few members here) or have a squat rack to get it up on your shoulders in the first place.

Hope this helps.

Thanks RB, to be honest, my thighs aren't quite strong enough yet for me to get down really low with dumbbells. Without I can get down low, I'm just not quite there.

I'm using 2.5 kg per dumbbell, yes I am weak :p

I held off posting in this thread hoping it would die off. Put the pan on the heat, crack the egg on the side, slop it in. When it looks about done it is so eat it...
For even more speed and convenience crack the egg on the side of a bowl and slop it in, whisk it a little bit and put it in the microwave. Get out after it swells up and stir then back in till it does it again, then eat it.
I eat 6+ eggs every day with one or both of those methods.

As for the dumbell squats unless something is physically wrong with you then you are not that weak, you just aren't trying. My 6ish (maybe less she's tiny) stone cousin could squat with 2.5k dumbbells, they are pink for a reason :p

What is the difficulty you are having with the squats ?

Flexibility can be helped by some initial stretching. Exrx has some sections on stretches you can do to help loosen up.

Balance will come with practice as the stabilisers kick in.

Grip holding the weight will also come although slowly.

You could always go and get a broom / mop handle (without the end on ;) ) and use that to practice the basic form to start with (just don't go adding weights to it  ). You could also use it for twists to help the core.

I usually find my inner thighs are hurting after a good squat session and I tend to be panting after one set of eight. I am just about walking to the leg press after 3*8. Really have to push it for maximum effect.

I held off posting in this thread hoping it would die off.

Haha. 127 posts (5 pages) and almost 2000 views to date.... lots of people out there in need of egg cooking tips it seems ;).

Easy enough mate, do a couple of sets every few days and in a week or 2 you can surely start adding some weights, if youre diet is in check etc, I found adding weight when starting squats goes up rapidly.
