How to fight tiredness

I like about 8-9 hours sleep. (although i was in bed for 10 last night and din't get up until 8!).....and no, i'm not a student.
 
I know how you feel mate, I find myself nodding off in the mornings and late afternoons. I usually have to get up and do something to stop myself falling asleep.
 
I usually go to bed anytime between 12am-2am. Wake up anytime between 9am-12pm. Dont like staying in bed past dinner time.
If im up for uni though I usually go to bed at midnight and get up at 8am.
 
I ate a whole Pack once was not good:(

I had 2 the other night at work as I was seriously falling asleep cos i'd been out all night after Hatton fight. I'd already had 2 large extra strong extra sugery coffees, about half an hour later I had the shakes and stuff, not a pleasant experience.

during the day I had the pack I was bouncing off the walls however for the next 3 days and nights I was extremely tired but no matter what i tried i couldn't sleep it really ****** me over
 
I also did the 100 cups of coffee after watching the 300 big boys episode of futurama that was kool was up for 7 days straight bouncing off the walls and then slept for 4 days afterwards :p
 
At my last job I used to just nod off at work for an hour or so. At the start I tried my hardest to stay awake, but it was nigh on impossible. No one ever woke up or cared that I was asleep (very very slow job).

Whenever I decided to try and not nod off, I'd pick a subject that interested me and read everything about it on wiki. That was the best way I found.
 
Go to the gym and improve your diet, i used to feel tired, and energyless most of the time, even with more sleep, scince i started going there at the weekend its helped a lot.
 
Plenty of trips to the water fountain, a decent lunch, and the odd packet of crisps/chocolate bar keeps me going.
Contradicting what most of you are saying, but it works for me :D
 
im always tired at work when theres nothig to do but checking this forum :D,
(im tired even when theres something to do - but thats different kind of tiredness)
 
Exercise is the only cure for tiredness. Find a space in the office and do some press ups or sit ups, if your stuck in a chair do some buttock clenches :eek:
