How to get a new SSD every 14months

Still have my original Vertex 2 in my PC never been a minutes trouble
(Nor has the Samsung 830 both in a few diferent setups and they have both worked well
best upgrade a PC can get in my opinion

They sent me a 120GB M500 to replace my 128GB M4 too, the seed and size weren't worth keeping so got a Samsung 840 Pro instead.

I'm still on the support forum and they haven't allowed me to RMA yet.

I get BSofD caused by page file being inaccessible.

Am using the latest Firmware, MB Bios and high performance settings.

Yeah, my Crucial 512GB M4 died after 2 years of use. M500 is on the way however, the capacity is down to 480GB :/

Had one Intel and two Crucial drives all still going well. Most likely replacements will be larger Samsung drives.

Ocz ssd's are truly shocking for reliability. Stick to crucial or Samsung.

i payed £310 for an OCZ 100gb LE when they first came out nearly 4 years ago, that lasted ~ 8 months before it died, i bought a 60gb vertex 2 to replace it 3 years and 2 weeks ago and it broke yesterday.. just days past its warranty

im now on a 128gb 840 pro but as im on an x58 mobo it wont go above 400mb/s, wish i knew that before i bought it lol

Intel, Samsung and Kingston (in no particular order) are the only SSDs I'd buy.

I reckon everyone will find a manufacturer to complain about! I myself have had 2 Corsair drives fail...

For future purchases I would definitely be looking for a UK RMA base. Corsair is in the Netherlands, so more expensive to post to.

Nope. I've also had a SanDisk Extreme 120GB for some time now and not a single problem. Got it for about £65 too
