How to get into left for dead.

You need to have some of the regulars of the OcUK L4D community added and ON your friends list.

This way you can see when they start playing and ask for inv if not follow them or whatever, some of the top of my head:

There are many more that I just can't think of, from the top of my head, but that list will deffinatley start you off in a good direction. Just add people as you play with them from there and soon your friends list will be pretty full!

Add me to that list. I'm generally up for late night games at the weekend once the wife and bairn are in bed.
 
Ok I've been having a play around again. And changed my opinion, Versus isn't the throwaway tacked on mode that I first thought it was - it is actually the most varied and fun mode on lfd. The campaign is just for kicks, but the true multiplayer is in versus.

This game is fricking awesome. No idea why I didn't enjoy it so much the first time, but I'am loving it.


Anyone up for a campaign game tomorrow at around 8 ish, expert mode if possible? Because playing with randoms is anoying as hell.
 
midnight's 3 step plan to get into left 4 dead.

1 - do really really well with your team
2 - get cocky around the 3rd or 4th level
3 - run away from your team to crown a witch but fail whilst also spawning a tank, wipe team

cackle like a madman is optional, but necessary when the booze has been flowing
 
It has been awhile since I last played - the forcing dedicated servers for lobby stuff wasn't working properly then... it was more than a month after release tho...

If there are regular OcUK versus games going on I might jump back into it a bit - it got too tiring wading through crap players and people trying to host games on 128Kbit upload while DLing a torrent on a PC only capable of 30fps.
