How to get side mirrors to dip when putting Hyundai into reverse?

I've had an Ioniq 5 for 6 months now and for the life of me cannot figure out how to get the sideview mirrors to automatically dip when putting it into reverse. It's a standard feature of the Ioniq 5 so it should work
I don't want to give in and go to the dealership to teach me how so would rather ask the geniuses here.

I've followed the manual and I still can't get it working.
This was a video I recorded previously, what am I doing wrong?!

If it’s anything like my Tuscon you would need to press the wing mirror adjustment button either L or R to activate the tilt function and back to centre to deactivate

This is all an assumption though as I’ve never driven an Ioniq

on my mazda, you click on either left or right mirror button (which you can then "adjust it") , slap it into Reverse and it tilts

On our 2019 Ioniq the adjuster slider needs to be L or R not centre and you then go into reverse.

OK so I thought the exact same.
Put it in left or right, put it into reverse, dip the mirrors manually, put it back into drive and it should restore back to the original position

I'll record another video and embed it today because it doesn't seem to work.

Are you 100% sure that's the case?

The manual describes it as 'If equipped' and there seems to be a lot of debate online as to whether it is in fact present on different trim levels

I would have assumed it would as my trim level is second from the top.
I have an Ultimate 23 plate.

Maybe I'll have to go to a dealership

Seems some people of the opinion it's dependent on other options being present, such as memory seats (I don't know about the Ioniq specifically but I know other manufacturers use the same memory modules for the seats and positioning of related items like mirrors, so not having memory seats can limit functionality of things like mirrors)

been googling for a downloadable / online brochure of that era, and check Auto trader, but im not seeing it on any models yet

My Tuscan dips the mirrors automatically when selecting the left or tight adjustment switch then goes back to its normal position

No idea if it’s dependent on trim level though

Are you leaving the mirror selected? We have a Kia (basically a Hyundai so assume it probably works the same) and the mirror only dips if it's the one selected for adjustment. Took me a while to figure out when I thought the auto dip stopped working.

Will have to try that in my Ioniq 6. I thought I'd read it had auto dip on reverse, which would be useful mostly for the driver mirror, but they have never dipped and I never got around to finding out whether they should or not.

Out of habit I have always have the mirror selector switch in the middle except when I needed to adjust the mirror. Will be nice if it is a simple slide the switch to choose a mirror. The most frustrating thing with my XK was the passenger mirror was the only one that dipped and I rarely needed it to, but the driver mirror which I wanted to dip most of the time was fixed position only.
