How to install sata drive?

This may seem a silly question but i've purchased a sata drive and don't know know how to install it.

From my psu I have sata cables and I also have some cables that plug into my motherboard for sata.

So do you just need to run the cable from the motherboard and get the power from the psu sata cables?

Yup, that's about it. The drive may have both a SATA power socket and a normal molex, you can use either but NOT both.
