How to make a custom W7 disc?

I wouldn't go removing things from Vista/7, they're more integrated than they were in XP

Also, that first link is for XP only.

Personally, I just use a W7 SP1 DVD/iso and then I keep an image of extracted files from driverpacks.net to install drivers

I tried to make a slipstreamed SP1 Win 7 DVD with all simple crap removed using rt7lite and it failed horribly. Would not bother. Did not even finish setup let alone get to a desktop.

The guy who made nlite/vlite was awesome at fixing any bugs reported, I was part of the Alpha forum :)

He doesn't do it any more, and personally, I wouldn't use rt7lite, I mean look at the website

Yes, but hasn't been developed for years, let alone since SP1 was out. So it would probably wreak havoc on a new install
