How to make pot noodle good again!

There is no way.

Boil the kettle.

Defenestrate pot noodle.

Have a cup of tea and think how wonderful it is not to eat that muck.

What is it with all this snobbery against Pot Noodles? Do people not realise that it's nothing more than a quick way to fill a gap? OK, they're not the most healthy of foods, but it's not as if they're being eaten each and every day as a main meal, they're a snack.

Pot noodles aren't even bad for you anyway.

There's virtually nothing in them other than noodles and artificial flavourings.

They removed all the bits that were bad for you, that's why they taste terrible now.

I keep some in my van and they are excellent emergency food.....especially If I am out on a long incident in the middle of nowhere. ( I have a kettle on my van)

Unfortunately they don't taste as good as they did years ago.

Chicken and mushroom ftw. For me to improve flavour add fresh ground black pepper, some soy sauce and a little extra salt.

Heard a recipe on Radio4 about adding an egg and cooking in microwave but never tried that.

Shouldn't all you food snobs be in The Fat Duck knocking back pate de foie gras and Chateau de Chasselas, rather than posting in this thread?

Mi Goreng noodles - get them in any asian food shop, and they are the doggie's danglys. A lot of people boil them then fry them up with bits of meat and veggies but they are awesome on their own. even just crack an egg on top as they are boiling, best noodles EVER.
