I have incredibly bad vertigo... to the point were i lay down on the floor if i feel that scared lol, bit odd coming from a guy 6`6" tall.

If you dont say the fear i see no logical way of commenting how to help...

For me i guess blindfold me, lead me somewhere very high/glass floor and glue me there for 10 minutes. If i live. I guess i have conquered it.

Little difficult to help unless we know what the issue is really but getting them to regularly and frequently visualise the situation in their mind, in a calm and quiet environment can do wonders for problems and anxiety. Might want to look that up and try starting with that, at least as far as preparation for the event is concerned. I've had to do it in the past and it was very effective.

it would be for them, 5 minutes of terror and then their mind would be at rest

Also, you might think that it's only 5 mins of fear for them but you may very well make the situation worse for them.

it's not possible to make someone do something they have a high fear of they will only hate you for trying.
I have a fear of spiders , wasps , bees , moths , cranefly etc if you stuck me in a room with any of them I would want to beat the crap out of you.

TBH with how much you want this person to not have the fear any more I'm getting the impression in some way it would benefit you rather than them
almost like it's your partner and it involves a certain activity 2 adults would do together
