Need to send a CPU to someone, but Dont have the origional box or the little plastic thingy that they come in (its an AMD 3500+)

I really dont know what to do with it so that it doesnt break, i got some good sized boxes, my main concern is the actual CPU though, what can i wrap it in?

Thanks

When I sent one, I stuck the pins in some foam and put that in a mini box. Then wrapped the whole thing securely in several layers of bubble wrap and then stuck that in a padded envelope. Did the job for me :)

You could leave the box out i guess, but make sure u use enough bubble wrap.
