How to set up NVMe on boot up

Ok so my motherboard doesn’t do NVMe boot up.

But is there anyway of forcing my computer to boot up using NVMe in bios?

It’s just a p8p67 pro, I’m upgrading soon but wondered if I could force NVMe boot through bios or some other method until I upgrade

Did you migrate windows to the NVMe from a HDD/SSD? I've tried that and it didn't boot. I had to fresh install win 10 to the NVMe.

I will do a fresh install of windows on the NVMe too thanks for that.

Does your motherboard support NVMe boot?

The machine I did that on was a NUC7i7BNH that supports NVMe booting.

You will probably have to mod the bios to enable it to boot from a NVME drive.

Did it myself on a Z77 motherboard and it worked well, although it was very nerve wracking flashing a hacked bios.

If you do this mod, don't blame me if it fails and bricks your motherboard.
