How to Sign Symbian S60 v3 Program for N95 8gb?

I used the FCA00000 hack and SignSIS app for mine. It's not very user friendly to set up, but once done it lets you instantly sign any apps you put on the phone, without needing to use symbiansigned or any other site.

It's a real pain they changed this signing business. I wanted RotateMe real bad but it seems too hard to sort out now

just looked in to this, a lot of people claiming it doesn't work.

Did it work for you ok? What phone do you have?

It works absolutely fine if you follow the instructions and really isn't difficult (it looks more complicated than it really is). I have an N95 8GB.

I'm not sure where abouts you're reading, but on the popular phone forums where the instructions can be found (can't link to them here but there's a good 34 page thread created by swankyleo) the only people saying it doesn't work just didn't follow the instructions properly and they soon get it working with a little help. I'm sure someone will make clearer instructions soon, though I can't say I had any problem with it.

How did you get RotateMe working?

Also. Can someone recommend me a free program like X-plore as a file manager. Thanks
Edit: Y-brower does the job

I just tried signing Rotate Me using that link but I get this error when trying to do so:

FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0x200087b5 )

Any ideas?

Yea the author has used his emaila ddress to "lock" it so to speak - you cant sign it without his email address

Thanks Begbie but I went ahead and did the whole hack yesterday. Took me over an hour but it did work (thankfully) so now I'm rotating with ease
