How to speak to a human at DPD

Thing I notice most I think is a lot less often there is a 1-2 hour slot sometimes it is just "all day" though they try and dress it up like it is a more specific timeslot. Though that change might somewhat be due to moving to a more rural area vs when I lived in a city or town but even when we first moved here the timeslots were more specific.

That's definitely one frustrating thing with Amazon. They'll give a delivery slot of maybe between 2 hours. It gets closer to that window and it gets bumped back another hour. Another hour goes past and it gets bumped again.

Surely their systems - especially with the amount of deliveries they do, must be able to better predict that an original schedule was unrealistic.

Well depot just rang, driver been sent back out with a bunch of skipped deliveries, ill keep you guys updated.

My feeling is I have been fobbed off, instead of saying we messed up I think they prefer to make a customer sit waiting for longer, as the tracker hasnt changed back still says "we missed you".

Make sure you complain to the retailer, especially if you paid for delivery, if they don't refund the shipping or give you some kind of goodwill gesture then a negative review.

Unfortunately the only way any of these couriers will improve is if they start losing business, and the only way that will happen is if companies who use them get punished for it

I ended up going out, and not waiting as I felt I was fobbed off, and of course no card came through the door.

Today its late afternoon, but interestingly tracker shows driver around the corner, so it seems their route is zig zagged rather than having drop off's close to each other. or perhaps doing deliveries with higheir tiered pre afternoon slots.

The excuse for yesterday was gun stopped working.

This isnt from a retailer so cant really complain to them, but the sender has chased them up and was given the gun not working excuse.

done 3 deliveries in an hour and I am 117, doesnt bode well. 117/3 equals 45 hours needed to do the run.

Yes, you have to complain to the shop.

I really dislike when you can't speak to someone and have some pretty poor chat Algo running things.

These companies think they are cutting edge with poor chat algos.
