They CAN play together, but I dont think they should necessarily be in the same areas of the park

Rooney will always drift where the ball is, no matter where you play him, if you get him slightly further away from the goal than Tevez .....and Berba
(and Im really not sure about this theory that SAF has bought Berba to be behind Tevez and Rooney) you will get a lot more out of Rooney

That means dropping one or the other though which is stupid or playing one of them out of position

Tevez doesn't like playing right up front he has already proved that, same goes for Rooney at least if you have them slightly deeper they can still do damage in the right area of the park

If Berbatov plays behind Rooney and Tevez against Liverpool, ill give you a fiver

berbatov will be playing ahead of the others but his ability to hold the ball up and lay it off should give the other 2 the opportunity to bomb forward. i'd expect us to be very fluid.

I agree I dont think Berba will be playing behind the other two - but there is some mention of it around and about

With rooney and tevez supporting Berbatov with their workout and the way they terrorize teams with their constant movement and hassling of other players, and that never say die attitude I think we should be able to bag a shed load of goals this season, and with that back line we should be very strong again this year.
