Well everything started sort of well.. apart from waking up a little late... Falling asleep in the bath...

Not a bad start to the morning (well not fantastic.. but one of the better ones lately)..

I decided to walk to... Save Pertol (and I supose the planet).. Plugged myself into my iPod and started out toward work...

Got about 5 minutes into a bit of Leftfield when 'BAM' down I went whilst crossing the road...

My Leg folded underneath me and I twisted my ankle... There I was laying in the road, skinned knee and twisted ankle which was swelling up to a grapefruit size and hurting like b****ry, crying like a little girl.

I managed to hobble to a wall nearby and planted myself (still crying), phoned my Girlfriend (whos in the Red Cross luckily) to come get me cos I dairn't walk on it, it's her day off but she was still in bed, so I've woken her up!..

Looks like I've spranied it, but as it was Freeeezing, it could have a break or crack, gotta keep it up and rested till the swelling goes down then Emma will decide if it's time for A&E or just strap it!...

Not a Good start to the Day!. :mad:

I hope your ankle is OK and hate myself for still thinking it's hillarious
 
I thought it was going to be that you got hit by a car...you didn't therefore I'm not so fussed. :p Not good though certainly.

My day was going well, had a lay in, sorted out the kitchen after an early xmas meal (for uni course mates) and then got a phone call from my mum to tell me that a family friend died at the weekend and the funeral is on Sat. The day became bad about that point.

Thats one of mine, about a week after a hockey injury :D Taped it up, put on a brace, and played a weekend of hockey on it after that was taken too.

Man up, wet pants!
 
Hahaa. Could have at least said you did it playing football or something, not bloody walking.

Had a similar looking foot a few months ago when i fell off a ladder, i was convinced it was broke with the pain i was in. After 10mins or so the pain wasn't so bad.

Keep plenty of ice on it for as long as you can, keep it elevated and get a strapping on it.
Be better in a couple of weeks.

Hope you aint going skiing anytime soon, as it will be agony to get that into a ski boot!
