HP Pre 3 released

I only have £100 in my account so until its below that I can't buy one. If its like the tablets where people pre order/reserve them at the high price and wait until it drops it'll suck.

I wouldnt preorder from Clever, reading their twitter feed, they have NO intention of lowering the price. Better to order from one of the bigger names, plus its looking like the reduced price will be £69.

So why not order then, if they're intending to lower price? They've run out of stock now, so you wont be getting a current £189 stock item.
I've taken a punt on two websites now, and am prepared to return if it comes to it. Me and wife desperately need new phones, hopefully one order will pan out ok.

Update Wed 24th 10am : Sorry, No stock will be available for order for the remainder of this week. Next Update: Fri 26th 10am. Customer Service staff will not have any further information - it will be communicated directly here on this page.

Looks like friday now according to the Palm Eurostore, I'm determined not to miss out on this haha!

Yeah, that's old news from about two thousand, seven hundred and thirty nine posts ago

The HP site is going to be DEAD from about 9:50 onwards. I can't believe they posted a specific time. Bet their website admin bods a melting down.

Placed my pre-order just now on the 'fabulous e trader' site. Looks like it has taken £199 off my cc so hopefully they will refund the difference when they get stock and adjust the price.

If they don't it's going straight back!

Glad I didn't get any existing stock then, as they'd just run out whilst I was looking, so IF they get any further stock, it'll be at a lower price.

If your TouchPad's not smooth, make sure you've installed all the patches as they make a big difference.

I stuck an order in with Super, hopefully I'll be able to present this and a Touchpad (already arrived) to my father on his birthday - best son ever

Oh yeah it is definitely better with the patches and updates but I do get the odd bit of performance decrease here or there. I've mentioned in a previous thread that I'm 100% certain it's just a software issue that will be fixed once HP get the next update out the door.

So basically I'm just interested to see if the Pre doesn't suffer as badly or at all, because that would definitely prove that it is fixable.
