HP Reverb G2 uk release date?

Whats the situation with the G2 at the moment? I've finally got a 3080 and a VR headset was second on my purchase list. Am I right in thinking these are about as hard to come by as 3080's at the moment?

Are OC'ers selling these or do you have buy direct from HP?

I saw some on ebay for close to the right price. I don't think there will be a problem once the pre-orders are fulfilled. So one should be able to buy it reasonably easy in January, perhaps second half. Before that it may be a bit more difficult.

Harder.

I've been trying to buy three for a uni project but even going direct to HP via our business account we can't get them. Ordered six Quest 2's instead.

Cool. I'll keep a look out. I'm not in a huge rush so I'll see what early next year brings.
 
Have HP or any of the official resellers given a estimated timeframe for the pre orders to be fulfilled? I'd like to pick one of these up if they go back up for direct sale.

That date is the invoice date, not purchase date. Its intended to cover all pre-orders.

Confusingly, SA's invoices for (presumably all) pre orders are dated 30th Nov. They sent a further email regarding this last night and said they'd asked HP to amend the claim page accordingly.

Even more confusingly I had no problem entering the date as 30/11/2020 on the webpage...
