They have done it before, I really don't think this downtime is related in anyway.

I was lucky enough to get one from Comet at about 8pm after an insane battle with my F5.

If your still looking, i would pay extra attention around midnight and 4am, i would imagine some of the better online stores like Play and Amazon will wait to switch on their deals so as to avoid bring the site down at peak times.

Probably, they have already ported ubuntu and I think android is already on it's way.

comet have removed all touchpad even from view....now if you search touchpad it just brings up a case...

Really good piece of kit. Will reduce my PC hours a fair whack because it does emails better than any other tablet I've used!

No chance. I checked at the weekend and all the usual suspects only had 1-2 of each model in stock, yesterday they were all gone. None in purple shirts, currys or Argos across the country.
